Early relegation candidates SD Amorebieta face a challenge away against high-flying Sporting Gijón at the Estadio Municipal El Molinón on Saturday.
SD Amorebieta are 21st in the Segunda División table, and have picked up two wins and four draws in their 14 games to date.
Sporting Gijón, meanwhile, are second in the standings with 27 points, having won eight and drawn three, and are four points behind table-toppers Leganés.
Sporting are in good form in the Segunda División, with four wins and a draw from their last six games.
With no wins and a draw over that period, Amorebieta's form is much worse – they have taken one point from 18, compared to Sporting Gijón's 13.
With 22 goals in 14 games so far this season, the hosts are scoring more than average in the league with 1.6 goals per game. And they are conceding fewer than average, letting in 12 goals at a rate of 0.9 per game.
SD Amorebieta, meanwhile, are below average scorers, with 0.9 goals per game, compared to a league average of 1.2. They have conceded 1.6 goals per game.
In Orlando Rubén Yáñez Alabart, Sporting can rely on one of the league's safest pair of hands. He has kept seven clean sheets in his 14 appearances this season, and only one other 'keeper – Leganés' Diego Conde – has been able to prevent the opposition scoring on more occasions in the Segunda División.
In the away team's net, Pablo Cuñat Campos has four clean sheets in 12 games. He has conceded a goal every 77 minutes, 40% more often than the 105 minutes between goals for Yáñez Alabart.
Sporting's last match was on November 4, a 3-0 win against Villarreal II, with José Ángel, Juan Ferney Otero Tovar and Víctor Campuzano Bonilla getting the goals for Sporting Gijón.
Amorebieta lost 1-0 against SD Huesca last time out, on Sunday.
