Coventry City welcome Stoke City to the Coventry Building Society Arena on Saturday looking to pick up points to end their four-game losing streak.

Coventry's struggles have left them with just four points from their last six Championship matches, while their opponents have earned 10 from a possible 18.

Coventry are 20th in the table after 15 games, of which they have won three and drawn six, earning 15 points.

Stoke are seven places ahead of Coventry City in 13th, with six wins and two draws putting them on 20 points.

With 16 goals in 15 games so far this season, Stoke City are scoring at below the league average rate with 1.1 goals per game. But they are conceding fewer than average too, letting in 18 goals at a rate of 1.2 per game.

The Sky Blues are also below average scorers, with 1.3 goals per game, compared to a league average of 1.4. They have conceded 1.4 goals per game.

Over the last two years, Coventry and Stoke have played each other on four occasions. Coventry won two of them, Stoke one, and they drew once.

On average, the Sky Blues scored 1.0 goal and the Potters 1.2 in those matches.

Their last meeting was on April 1, when Stoke won 4-0 away.

Coventry's last match was on November 4, a 3-2 loss against Preston North End, with Haji Wright getting the goals for the Sky Blues.

Stoke drew 0-0 with Cardiff City last time out, also on November 4.
