CD Tenerife are heavy favourites to keep all three points at home in Sunday's late kick-off against FC Cartagena.
CD Tenerife, who sit 10th in the Segunda División with 16 games played, are priced at 1.6 to seal victory at the Estadio Heliodoro Rodríguez Lopéz.
Sitting 12 places and 15 points behind them in the table, Cartagena are 5.4 to win with betting companies, while the draw is at 3.4.
Tenerife are in terrible form in the Segunda División, with no wins and two draws from their last six games.
With no wins and three draws over that period, Cartagena's form is slightly better – they have taken three points from 18, compared to CD Tenerife's two.
In the last 10 years, Tenerife and Cartagena have played each other on six occasions. Tenerife won two of them, Cartagena one, and they drew three times.
On average, CD Tenerife scored 1.0 goal and FC Cartagena 0.5 in those matches.
Their last meeting was on January 22, when Tenerife won 1-0 away.
In Juan Soriano Oropesa, the hosts can rely on one of the league's safest pair of hands. He has kept seven clean sheets in his 16 appearances this season, and only two other 'keepers – Sporting Gijón's Orlando Rubén Yáñez Alabart and Leganés' Diego Conde – have been able to prevent the opposition scoring on more occasions in the Segunda División.
In FC Cartagena's net, Marc Martínez Aranda has one clean sheet in 14 games. He has conceded a goal every 84 minutes, 40% more often than the 120 minutes between goals for Soriano Oropesa.
With 13 goals in 16 games so far this season, the away side are the league's second-lowest scorers with 0.8 goals per game. And they are conceding more than average, letting in 26 goals at a rate of 1.6 per game.
Tenerife are also below average scorers, with 0.9 goals per game, compared to a league average of 1.2. They have also conceded 0.9 goals per game.
Tenerife's last match was on November 18, a 2-0 loss against SD Amorebieta.
Cartagena drew 1-1 with Albacete Balompié last time out, on November 19, with Alfredo Ortuño Martínez on the scoresheet.
